Between 9:07 a.m. on 27 July 2002 and 9:00 a.m. 28 July 2002, i participated in Blogathon 2002. basically, i had to post something to this web site every 30 minutes for 24 hours straight (so, 48 entries).

i decided that i was going to try and write one long piece of fiction and post it in 30 minute chunks. i had no idea what the story was going to be about except that i was going to write from a female pov.

essentially, i wrote for 23.5 hours straight (not counting trips to the fridge or the bathroom). i took a half hour off to eat my dinner. by the end i had 17,127 words and, i think, a pretty good story.

i was doing this to raise money for charity. thanks to my sponsors, i raised over $500 for Covenant House, an organization that helps homeless youth.

the piece was rife with spelling mistakes as i didn't have time to edit or re-read it before posting. i have since gone thru and corrected the spelling mistakes.
